British film producer and director Matthew Vaughn has launched an independent film studio, UR-Marv, in collaboration with football legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

The pair have already financed and produced two action films within the studio, and Vaughn commented 'Cristiano has created stories on the pitch that I could never have written, and I look forward to creating inspiring movies with him - he’s a real-life superhero'.
